Apprentices are the foundation of our business. They enable us to develop the skills we need for the future. In this world where technology moves at such as fast pace our apprentices bring up to date knowledge around digital, they are eager to learn.

Being responsible for our apprentice development programme has to be the best job in the world. Watching young people start out in their career and achieve so much is so rewarding. It is fantastic to support someone through the journey of their apprenticeship and then watch them grow and go on to bigger and better roles is the best reward possible. Winning awards for our Apprenticeship programme which was voted for by our apprentices is testament that we must be doing something right.

Hunger for learning, bring fresh ideas and approaches, enable peer to peer learning and reverse mentoring with other colleagues in the business.


WHAT DO YOU FEEL ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF OFFERING AN APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME OVER OTHER TRAINING OR EDUCATION?


An apprenticeship offers the development of practical skills alongside recognised qualifications. It gives the learner the best of both worlds. From a business perspective we have someone who can apply both practical and technical knowledge. The apprenticeship route really allows the individual to understand what they are learning and how they can apply that in a business context. Of course one major benefit is they are learning and earning at the same time!
