Version 9 of the Apprenticeship Programme response to COVID-19 has been published.
The new guidance has replace version 8 of the document found on the apprenticeship programme response page.
Changes to this version include:
Signposting to the Education and childcare settings: New National Restrictions from 5 November 2020 guidance, and confirmation that the guidance allows apprenticeship training and assessment can continue to be delivered in line with COVID-19 restrictions, either in existing education settings or other premises used for that purpose.
Confirmation that the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme has been extended and a link to the relevant HMRC guidance.
Information on of the package of support available for those who have been made redundant on or after 15th October.
An extension of the temporary flexibility suspending the funding rule requiring level 2 apprentices to study towards, and attempt, level 2 functional skills assessments until 31 March 2021.
Confirmation that the DfE Exam Support Service has been extended to include Functional Skills Qualifications (FSQs) in apprenticeships to reflect the information being released in yesterday’s Update.
